Daily Sudoku

Daily Sudoku offers a new number puzzle with four difficulty levels and an archive of earlier grids. Fill the empty cells so every row, column, and three-by-three box contains the digits one through nine without repetition. The satisfaction comes from reducing possibilities until a cell has only one answer, then using that discovery elsewhere. Choose an easier setting for a quick daily routine or increase the difficulty when you want a more demanding deduction session.

Daily Sudoku: useful things to know

Daily Sudoku offers four difficulty levels and a multi-month archive of standard row, column and box puzzles.

Which Sudoku should I choose for my first session?

Start with the lowest of the four difficulty levels if you are learning the rules. The game also includes several months of archived puzzles, so finishing today's grid does not exhaust the available practice.

What must I check before entering a Sudoku number?

Check its row, column and 3-by-3 box. Each of those groups can contain a number from 1 to 9 only once, so a number that fits the row may still be ruled out by the column or box.
