Zoo Boom

Zoo Boom asks you to collect animal cubes by selecting neighboring groups of the same color. You only need a pair to make a match, but larger groups can create boosters that help with the level's tasks. That makes the board a small planning puzzle: a convenient match now might break up a more valuable group later. Choose it for colorful, approachable levels where working toward the stated objective matters more than clearing cubes at random.

Zoo Boom: useful things to know

Zoo Boom is a tap-to-collect animal puzzle for players who prefer choosing existing groups to arranging a three-piece swap.

Do I need three animals before I can collect a group?

No. The publisher's minimum is two animals of the same color. Tap a qualifying group to collect it, then check the remaining tasks; do not wait for a three-animal match just because other matching games require one.

Why save a larger group of matching creatures for a move?

Matching multiple creatures of the same type can create special boosters, and boosters can be combined for larger effects. Compare a larger group with a small immediate collection, especially when the remaining tasks need more clearing power.
