Daily Puzzles: Logic, Numbers and Words
Choose a daily crossword, word search, nonogram, Kakuro, Hitori or murder mystery, with a clear explanation of what makes each puzzle different.
THE SELECTION
Which game should you start with?
Build a puzzle routine around the kind of thinking you enjoy. These publisher-described daily games range from word clues and number sums to grid deduction and a small murder mystery. The daily format is the connection, not a shared set of rules: read each recommendation to choose today's challenge. Available sizes, difficulty settings and archives depend on the individual game.
How games make this list
- The publisher describes a new puzzle or puzzle set for each day.
- The central challenge uses word finding, arithmetic or logical clues.
Daily Murder Sudoku
Place people according to the clues and room rules to identify the murderer, rather than filling a conventional number Sudoku.
Daily Nonograms
Work from row and column hints in a daily nonogram, choosing among the puzzle sizes offered by the game.
Daily Kakuro
Use digits to satisfy sum clues, with four difficulty choices and an archive when you want another arithmetic challenge.
Daily Hitori
Resolve repeated numbers while keeping the remaining cells connected and preventing shaded cells from touching horizontally or vertically.
Daily Crossword
Use the horizontal and vertical clues to fill intersecting answers in a new crossword each day.
Daily Word Search
Choose a word-finding challenge with a fresh daily grid and a list of words to locate.
Are all daily puzzles versions of Sudoku?
No. This selection includes word searches, crosswords, nonograms, Hitori and Kakuro. Daily Murder Sudoku uses people, rooms and clues instead of ordinary Sudoku digits. Read the rules of the selected game before making the first move.
Can I play a puzzle from an earlier date?
Daily Kakuro explicitly includes an archive of previous months. Archive access is not a requirement for every game in this collection, so check the individual game's date selector or menu for available puzzles.
