Physics Puzzles: Ropes, Fans and Rolling Paths
Guide candy, an acorn, snowflakes or a bouncing ball by changing how objects move in these physics-based puzzle picks.

Which game should you start with?
A solution here is something you set in motion. Cut a rope, activate a fan or remove a support, then watch the path change. These picks reward both planning and timing, but they use different tools: Om Nom needs a candy delivery, Doctor Acorn needs a safe route, and Basket & Ball puts you in charge of the moving ball itself. Expect to observe a result and refine your next attempt.
How games make this list
- Movement, gravity or physical interactions are central to reaching the level's goal.
- The player changes the route through timed actions, objects or environmental mechanisms.
Cut The Rope
Learn to turn a swinging candy and a few rope cuts into a precise delivery to Om Nom.
Cut The Rope 2
Combine rope cutting with helpers that lift, push, carry or launch candy to build a more elaborate route.
Doctor Acorn 2
Activate fans and navigate birds and bees while guiding the acorn doctor toward the exit and collectible stars.
Wake the Santa
Remove blocks in a useful sequence so rolling snowflakes reach the sleeping Santa.
Basket & Ball
Control the ball through traps and use its changing physical abilities to reach the hoop.
What makes these physics puzzles rather than number puzzles?
Their solutions depend on where objects move after an action. A cut, push or removed block changes a physical route, so timing can matter even when you already understand the intended path.
What should I try when the right idea still misses the target?
Change one action at a time. In rope puzzles, try a different release moment; in games with fans or removable supports, check the order of interactions. Watching the first point where a route goes wrong is more useful than repeating every action unchanged.
