Candy Box 2

An almost empty page and an increasing candy counter hide a surprisingly varied ASCII adventure. Let candies accumulate, inspect the new choices that appear and gradually discover a village, equipment, quests and puzzles. Candy Box 2 rewards curiosity as much as patience: a small decision can reveal a completely new activity. It is best enjoyed with a little willingness to experiment and without rushing to uncover every secret at once.

  • A gradually revealed ASCII world

BEFORE YOUR NEXT ROUND

Candy Box 2: useful things to know

An ASCII adventure that expands from a candy counter into new interface features, places and quests.

How do I get beyond the candy counter at the beginning?

Let candies accumulate and look for the option to request a new feature from the developer. The first feature request costs 30 candies, so keeping enough candies for it is a practical way to reveal more of the game.

Should I immediately eat or throw away every candy I receive?

Not if your immediate goal is to expand the interface. Eating and throwing are separate actions from buying new features; keep a reserve for the displayed feature costs, then experiment with the other choices when you can afford to.
